Mountain Reflections. California. Inyo National Forest.
time in the mountains is a great time to reflect, and in searching (mostly at dusk and dawn) for these photos, I typically get time alone (jenn likes her sleeping bag when it’s chilly). this gives me time to reflect on things as well, and i typically find that i am most spiritually alive here, living deliberately, where the only possessions i care about fit on my back. i have less anxiety here in the “wild” then i do otherwise. then i wonder why i tend to forget this when i’m back at the house, surrounded by a meager, yet encumbering set of belongings. but oh well, the image i want is never quite the one i get. I guess that goes for the image i want for myself as well. always learning. always room for growth.
on a related note, did i mention i just bought a pontoon fishing boat?
